9:00 AM Registration $15.00 for lunch – (subsidized by Wellington Soil & Crop and corporate sponsors)
One year Membership only - $25; Three year membership - $60

9:30 AM Welcome; Early Bird Draw - Matt & Sharon Coffey, Pioneer, will donate a bag of Seed Corn of the winner’s choice
- Business meeting, minutes, financial examiner’s report & financial statement, review of proposed constitution
10:15 AM Jake Munro OMAFRA: “Cereal rye: a simple but effective cover crop option”. Jake will share his research work on using cereal rye as an effective cover crop. He will discuss how cereal rye can be managed to improve soil health, reduce weed pressure and act as a good forage option
11:00 am Kelly Daynard, Executive Director, Farm and Food Care – “Communicating with Consumers”. Kelly will discuss the importance of Ag advocacy and food trust. Her current role puts her at the forefront of consumer-farmer relations and she has a world of insight as to how we can better represent agriculture and tell our stories.
11:45 AM Brittany Roka, Association Development Advisor, OSCIA; Brittany will discuss her role as Association Development Advisor and training opportunities.

12:20 PM Hot Roast Beef Dinner, served by Alma Ladies
